Pisces is so very complex. It is singlehandedly the most spiritual, the most psychic, the most sensitive and the most creative. At the same time, when ungrounded and untethered, it is the most confused and confusing, deceitful, delusional, unconscious, and illusive. It is for just such reasons the constellation for Pisces became symbolized by two fish, swimming in different directions with their tails tied together.
Pisces season comes with some hard asks. Because Pisces rules the delicate interplay between conscious and unconscious, between remembering and forgetting, Pisces asks you to remember who you are as a soul. Pisces asks you to find the shining star at the core of your soul. Pisces asks you to be that highest and best aspect of yourself, and only that highest and best aspect of yourself. Pisces will reveal your less conscious, unconscious, and subconscious beliefs and behaviors - you know the ones, the ones that keep you from being those things - and ask you to rectify and reconcile them. And if you are paying attention, Pisces season will show you how. But, as Pisces rules the watery depths of the stormy seas, and all the creatures that inhabit them, you may encounter some things that seem at first to be monstrous. So be prepared to be strong and to work deep.
And it looks something like this. In Pisces season, you are asked to revisit your most overly delicate places and desensitize all the root causes of your reactivity, triggers, and hypersensitivity: all the things that throw you off balance, off your game. The places where you are too upset by external events and issues you cannot control that you are unable to be present and effective with the issues and activities of daily life, and - as a result - are hemorrhaging time, money, energy, and resources.
As the energy of any astrological sign is the most powerful at the new moon – when the Sun and the Moon are exactly conjunct, I thought it would be helpful to revisit how to maximize the power of the moment. I send the newsletter out in the minutes and hours after the New Moon because that is when its energy is the most powerful and advantageous. As you can see, once again, this New Moon is occurring in the last, most powerful degrees of its sign. And it is part of a large, rolling stellium, spanning two signs. This dynamic has been present for the better part of the last year and is part of what has made it – the times we live in - so intense and so compelling. Because of the nature of all we are facing, processing, and dealing with right now, I encourage you to be more mindfully present with this one. Especially given the astrological influences – the waning Mercury Retrograde and the shadow period of the eclipses. If ever you were to create any kind of prayer, ritual, or ceremony in order to get the most out of this powerful new beginning, today is the day. And the sunset/moonrise is the most powerful time.
Ask your Gods, guides, guardians, angels, archangels, and ancestors from across all time and space, to help you get clear within yourself about priorities and opportunities. Use the principles of Feng Shui to focus on the most powerful part of your home in which to build an altar or offrenda (or some combination of both). On it, place items that illustrate your most urgent intentions and desires for next 30 days. Ask your spirit tribe to here, now, present with you.
Ask them to link up and synch up, raise the vibration and reset that new, higher vibration as the new normal. Ask them to you help you to feel their presence; to feel them and feel their love. Ask that they help you to feel their magic and the grace they bring. Ask for the ears to hear, the eyes to see, the sense to recognize and the heart to let it in, to receive. All of it.
