I started writing a newsletter in 2003 as a direct result of about 18 months worth of some very pointed yet well-intended nagging on the part of a friend of mine. She just wouldn’t let it go. And because she just happens to have great marketing instincts, I finally followed her advice.

In the beginning, I only did the Astro-Blogs about 3-4 times a year, and they were almost exclusively about the Mercury Retrogrades and how to best work with them. Since then, I find that I am happiest when I am writing about the retrogrades and eclipses, as well as the most common questions and experiences clients have around them. Over the years I have found that I am usually the most inspired say something around the time of the Shabbat days, probably because they are such a natural time of epiphanies and breakthroughs. And they are also a time when it is easier to release energy.

So now the Astro-Blog comes out about 8 times a year. It remains free and quite often driven by inquiries, questions, and feedback from clients. I love your astrological questions, and if you have a generic one that you would like to see addressed in the newsletter, please feel free to call me or write to me from the contact page. I am pleased to be named a Constant Contact All-Star once again for the Astro-Blog newsletter. This award for email marketing excellence is given for a continuing commitment to excellence and best practices based on a number of criteria, not the least of which are a high open rate, a low bounce rate, and no complaints or compliance-related inquiries.
